Essence 2026 just got heavier, stranger and more complete.

The Amenta join the final lineup, alongside new additions Anocht, Empty Vessel, Udeis and Rodenticide.

They join a huge weekend of underground heavy, extreme and experimental music at The Baso in Belconnen. Featuring Suldusk, Halo of Teeth, Fuxache, Burial Pit, Darkhorse, Yanomamo, Abre Ojos, Bentham’s Head, Lucas “Granpa” Abela, Blood in the Champagne, Chief Whip, Migret, Storm of Steel, Making Out, Thought Cabinet and more.

Plus, Friday night brings Essentia Vermis, the pre-fest curated by Gutter Prince Cabal, featuring Horrisonous, Graveir, Stellar Remains, Reekmind and Gralloch.
